A New Way of Working in GRCWe have been working hard on our latest release, BWise 4.1 Service pack 3. A big thank you to the R&D and testing team who worked hard on yet another significant step forward. The release was recently shipped to our customers. We've added a lot of new features, but most importantly we focused on usability.
As I have written many times before, GRC systems aren't necessarily the nicest systems. You need to perform very formal stuff; sign off on important statements, report incidents, etc. These are things not many people like to do and we understand this. This means a good GRC system should be easy to use, with the lowest possible threshold. Acceptance of the end-user is key for BWise, it is a continuous area of focus. By adding an easy-to-use and secure solution to perform off-line audits, we have embraced new ways of working for our audit users as well. Based on our Continuous Monitoring module, we offer extensive audit analytics capabilities. Auditors are now able to drive data analysis initiatives; starting with audit analytics and then moving on to continuous monitoring.
For risk management and compliance, we have made much effort to implement ideas from the market. These include advanced incident management, configurable workflows, risk aggregation in a variety of different ways, and much more. So to conclude, the new release of our GRC platform is developed to equip teams with the right tools to work more effectively and efficiently in order to cope with the ongoing growth in the number and complexity of GRC programs.
