BWise Announces first half year Success
Demand for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Solution Continues
New York, NY, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, July 28, 2009 – BWise, the leading provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software solutions, announced today its continued expansion and development for the first half of 2009. The recent success of the GRC solution provider can be attributed to a variety of factors, among them, market expansion with new customers and partnerships worldwide, and innovative GRC initiatives, such as a Continuous Control Monitoring component that integrates with an enterprise’s existing (ERP) system. In June, BWise organized its first French Customer Summit in Paris, France, with customer presentations from FMP, a large French insurer and France Télélecom, the third largest telecommunications firm in Europe.
Over the past six months BWise has seen the addition of new customers, such as a construction materials manufacturer and supplier in Germany and Western Europe, and other key customers in the United States and the Caribbean. Robert Pijselman, CEO of BWise, said “Despite the economic crisis, we see our clients are investing in risk management and compliance solutions to become more in control of their business. We are thrilled to help clients in this forward-thinking way of doing business, by continually improving and developing the BWise solution. Our efforts were justified by the recent recognition of BWise as a leader in Enterprise GRC Platforms by an independent analyst, and the partnership we have formed with Tauw Group to address Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance and risk management initiatives. Customer satisfaction and innovation are key to the success of BWise.”
BWise recently announced that it has designed a Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) solution as part of its efforts to constantly improve and evolve the BWise GRC platform. Continuous monitoring provides the necessary assurance that processes, systems and operational KPI's or KRI's are running in compliance. BWise CCM can integrate with any business database or system to manage and monitor key quantitative risks, including systems such as SAP, Oracle, financial systems and IT management systems. In addition, it can automatically collect auditable evidence from these external systems and the component features standard control monitoring rules that can be integrated into the enterprise. It also provides the ability to fine tune rules or the creation of new rules.
Luc Brandts, BWise CTO and Founder, said “Continuous Control Monitoring and HSE risk and compliance management are great additions to the full BWise Enterprise GRC platform and will assist firms to further streamline their control costs. Recently, we announced that the BWise platform has provided firms with the means to save 10 to 40% on internal costs and up to 70% on external costs, as seen by our web site’s ROI Calculator. The new additions can lead to even further savings and improved ROI.”
