 BWise U.S. Customer Summit Showcases Company and Customer Success

Presentations and Workshops Reaffirm Risk-Based Approach to GRC Initiatives


New York, NY…February 21, 2007 – BWise, a leading provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software solutions, today announced the results of its U.S. Customer Summit, which was held in New York on February 8, 2007.

The summit, which included presentations from BWise customers, AEGON and The Nielsen Company, underscored the need for a risk-based approach to GRC initiatives. Customers from across the U.S. and Canada traveled to the summit to share experiences about successful implementations and lessons learned. A key topic was the maturing market’s approach at focusing on business processes first – through an enterprise risk management framework that moves Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and risk management to new levels of efficiency and lowers the total cost of ownership.

BWise also collaborated with customers to shape the next release of its market driven GRC solution. Version 3.3, unveiled in December 2006, incorporated more than 700 change requests that were based directly on customer feedback, including significantly increased efficiencies for control testing and enhanced issue management workflow capabilities. These newest features were cited by customers at the summit as key differentiators for BWise. The next version release, scheduled for later this year, will be guided by continual market feedback and BWise’s best practices approach to GRC.

In addition, the summit included the inaugural Customer Innovation Award, which was presented to The Nielsen Company for its vision and dedication to its governance, risk and compliance initiative.
